Fanhome Announces First Three STAR TREK Releases in New Starship Model Program, Starting with PICARD’s USS Titan

Six months after Fanhome announced that they inherited the Star Trek model starship license after the collapse of Eaglemoss in 2022 — and days after the end of Master Replicas’ Eaglemoss leftovers sales  — we finally have some more detail on the company’s plans to bring more of the final frontier’s famous fleet to fans.

The company formally announced a return to starship model production today via StarTrek.com, with plans for model ships from the modern Star Trek shows already lined up — including Star Trek: DiscoveryStar Trek: PicardStar Trek: Strange New Worlds, plus the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek: Prodigy.

Supervised by our pal (and Star Trek starship guru) Ben Robinson, Fanhome will be launching their new model starship collection with the hero ship of Star Trek: Picard Season 3 — the Constitution III-class USS Titan (NCC-8021-A).

The Titan will be followed by Picard Season 2’s Sagan-class USS Stargazer (NCC-82893), and after that comes Jim Kirk’s USS Farragut (NCC-1647) from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (as seen in Season 1’s “A Quality of Mercy”).

As with the former product sold by Eaglemoss, these starships will be comprised of a mix of die-cast metal and injection-molded resin, but will be a bit larger — between 7″ and 9″ in length — comparable to the old Eaglemoss “midsized” special releases. Fanhome also plans to release larger XL sized ships, which will be in the same 11″ range as Eaglemoss’ similar XL products.

The Fanhome releases will also include magazines detailing the background and technical details of each starship, along with behind-the-scenes information and interviews from designers — so for collectors who have kept their magazines from the Eaglemoss days, you will have more to file away.

Each ship will be available for direct purchase from the Fanhome website for $64.99 USD, but those of you who subscribe to the new model starship program will be rewarded with a discounted $54.99/each price, along with an extra discount on the first ship — and the company plans to offer subscriber-exclusive model variants and other gifts.

For more information on Fanhome’s plans, fans can register for the company’s planned mailings about “notices, additional information, and sneak peeks” of the Fanhome collection at the Fanhome website — for USA residents and for UK residents — today.
