We’ve got some new Star Trek merchandise updates to share with you all today — with a new licensee debuting a Klingon staple, some book news, updates on EXO-6’s tariff-related shipment holds, and a check-in from the Wand Company about their Original Series tricorder.
First up, UK-based Raven Forge has announced a new Klingon bat’leth pizza cutter, made from stainless steel and measuring in at an impressive 17.5 inches (44.5cm).
Referencing original Next Generation designs for shaping, the Raven Forge design moves the handles to the inner curve — and moves the blade to the outer curve — to allow for grip, inverting the on-screen orientation.
Introducing the officially licensed Star Trek™ Bat’leth Pizza Cutter – an epic fusion of fandom and function. Designed in collaboration with Paramount using original drawings fom 1990, this collector’s piece is crafted to boldly go where no pizza cutter has gone before.
Inspired by the iconic Klingon weapon from the Star Trek universe, the Bat’leth Pizza Cutter features a stainless steel blade honed for precision and ready for action. Use it as a rocker blade to glide cleanly through your pizza – no dragged toppings, no dishonor. Just smooth slices and culinary glory. A must-have for every Star Trek fan’s galley.
– Stainless steel blade
– Dishwasher safe
– Plastic handles with leather-look grip
– Food-safe
Measures 44.5cm x 25 cm, weight 0.4kg
The pizza cutter retails for $49 / €43 / £35 plus shipping, and is available now.

One-sixth Star Trek action figure company EXO-6 has announced an impending end to their US-customer stop-shipment policy, first enacted in late April. In an email to collectors sent out on May 27, the company shared that next month tariff fees to US-based customers will begin.
EXO-6 will resume shipping to the United States with our next release – “The Cage” Spock 1/6 figure. This should be invoicing and shipping before the end of June.
Due to the recent tariffs imposed by the United States, we will be implementing a Tariff Surcharge Fee of $14.50 per figure for any figures sent to US addresses. This is on top of the current retail price and shipping.
This fee will help us offset the increased costs resulting from these tariffs. Please note that this surcharge is subject to change if there are any adjustments to the tariff rates in the future. Shipping will take longer to reach US addresses now too, we ask for your patience as we test these new shipping methods.
We understand that changes in pricing can be challenging, and we are committed to maintaining the high-quality standards you expect from EXO-6. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these changes.
On Facebook, the company elaborated:
At least until mid-August, the tariff rate [to the United States] on imported goods from China is 30% for anything imported via ocean freight. However the rate for things coming in by post is 54%.
We at EXO-6 have explored all our options and have settled on the best option for getting our customers our product in the most effective way possible. We are trying to navigate these uncertain times as best we could.

The Wand Company also took some time to address the tariff issue for US customers this month, with an update sent to newsletter subscribers on May 13. In the message, TWC shared that a plan to transfer inventory to the United States was underway — but with a cost increase to the end product, up from the original $350 announced in March.
What does the reduced tariff on bulk imports mean to me?
If you live in the US, quite a lot. The 145% tariff on goods manufactured in China imported to the US has been temporarily reduced to 30%. This means we can start shipping in bulk to the US immediately and, as soon as we are able, make the product available to our US customers through Amazon US.
If I live in the US, can I still buy the Tricorder from Amazon UK?
No, at the moment none of our products are available for US customers from our Amazon UK listing. While the de minimis tariffs for shipments under $800 in value has reduced to 54%, Amazon UK has currently paused shipments to the US. Due to the fact that it will not be possible for Amazon UK to ship our products to the US, when we send out our next “invite to purchase” email, we will not be sending it out to any of our US customers.
I live in the US – when will I be able to get my Tricorder?
The reduced bulk tariffs come into force tomorrow. As you can imagine, companies worldwide have had their shipments on hold since the tariffs were increased and are now all going to want to ship to the US at the same time. We will do our best to start airfreighting Tricorders to the US as soon as possible. Once they arrive there will be a wait while the stock is loaded into Amazon US.
I live in the US – will I actually ever be able to buy a Tricorder?
YES. We will be diverting the next few shipments to the US and we believe that there will be enough Tricorders for everyone that wants one to buy one. All our customers are important to us and we are doing our best to ensure that everyone gets their chance to purchase a Tricorder at the best price we can offer.
With the reduced tariff how much will my Tricorder cost?
The margins we have on the Tricorder manufacture are already thin and so we are not able to absorb the entire cost of the 30% tariff. As a result the cost of the Tricorders in the US will rise to $415.
Outside of the US, collectors will still be able to purchase through Amazon UK when The Wand Company has their next round of inventory available — for the original £270 price (plus any applicable taxes, shipping, or relevant import duties).
