Nacelle Launches Preorders for New STAR TREK Action Figures — with Detailed, Surprising Accessories

We first covered the exciting announcement that The Nacelle Company is venturing into the world of Star Trek action figures back in October — with a focus on lesser-served characters from the long-running franchise — and today, their first releases have launched for preorder ahead of an anticipated fall 2025 release.

Each figure comes with some unique accessories, beyond the usual interchangeable hands and Starfleet accessories that usually accompany action figures of this type; the Nacelle team has been taking input from fans to give each character truly specialized accessories that show a depth of knowledge about each one.

Each of these first eight figures retail at $28.99, and are available for preorder today at NacelleStore.com — shipments for each are expected to begin this fall.

One important note: Nacelle has confirmed to us the figures are only available for purchase in the United States at present, as currently they do not have an international distributor (and their license only allows for sales in the USA).

Captain Edward Jellico from “Chain of Command” comes with a Starfleet phaser and padd, but also his children’s drawings, a book about Cardassian politics, and Captain Picard’s fishtank (which he had removed from the ready room).

Captain Rachel Garrett from “Yesterday’s Enterprise” comes with an early-24th century phaser and communicator, a Next Gen-era phaser and padd, and an alternate head to depict her death on the Enterprise-C bridge.

Valkris from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock includes not only traditional Klingon accessories like a disruptor, tricorder, and bat’leth, but also a complete Genesis Device torpedo, casing, and control station – along with a data card containing the stolen Genesis secrets she smuggled to Kruge.

Captain Hikaru Sulu from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country comes of course with his Excelsior teacup, era-appropriate phaser and communicator, and an ‘open flap’ uniform attachment — but nacelle has also included Star Trek II-era phaser and communicator accessories to let you stage Sulu at an earlier point in his career.

Tuvix from “Tuvix” comes with a Voyager-era phaser and tricorder, a flora collection canister (as seen in the episode), an alternate ‘angry’ head, as well as the dreaded flower which caused Tuvok and Neelix to merge.

Mirror Jonathan Archer from “In A Mirror, Darkly” comes wearing that green TOS-era uniform wrap, a 22nd century Terran Empire phase pistol and communicator, a 23rd century phaser and tricorder, a bottle of green Aldebran whiskey (with glasses), and a pair of champagne flutes… including one replicating the moment of pouring the beverage all over his face.

Weyoun from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine includes expected Vorta accessories like a Ketracel-White crate (with three tubes of the Jem’Hadar drug), a viewscreen headset, an interchangeable smiling head — and pizza with chopsticks, as sampled by the ‘defective’ Weyoun 8 in “Treachery, Faith, and the Great River.”

Finally, Peter Preston from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan comes with a Khan-era tricorder, phaser, communicator, and engineering tools, plus an engineering breathing mask and an interchangeable head depicting his wounds during Khan’s attack on the Enterprise.

Prototype ‘paint masters’ of all eight figures were on display this week at New York Toy Fair, along with early editions of the large accessories:

Nacelle is continuing to take suggestions for future Star Trek action figures (and their accessories) through StarTrekIdeas@nacellecompany.com; feedback from fans has already heavily influenced the upcoming second wave figures.

More details on Nacelle’s Wave 2 figures — plus news on full Trek series bridge crew releases — are expected to come later in 2025.
