Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 featured the franchise’s first musical episode in August’s “Subspace Rhapsody,” and this week the original cast recordings from that unique Trek tale beam down in a new vinyl album.

From longtime Star Trek soundtrack record label Lakeshore Records comes the new vinyl release of “Subspace Rhapsody,” featuring all eleven original songs written by Kay Hanley and Tom Polce for the episode. The album will also include the a capella version of the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds theme, and the instrumental melody from the episode’s closing credits.

The full soundtrack to Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 is expected to debut close to the show’s Season 3 premiere, projected for sometime in 2025.
