Well it’s Star Trek Day, and with this new franchise holiday comes the beginning of a new line of Star Trek: Lower Decks merchandise from our friends over at FanSets!

The pin company kicks off their Lower Decks lineup today with a set of eight character pins representing the primary cast of the new animated series, including both the junior officers and command crew of the USS Cerritos in their regulation Starfleet attire.

Each measuring about 2″ high, the pins of Ensign Beckett MarinerEnsign Brad BoimlerEnsign Sam RutherfordEnsign D’Vana Tendi, Lieutenant Shax, Dr. T’AnaCommander Jack Ransom, and Captain Carol Freeman are each available for order today at a price of $6.95, or in a full eight-character collection for $49.95.

This won’t be the only Lower Decks releases coming from FanSets, as the company has already made it known that pin-back replicas of the silver Starfleet deltas worn by each character are on the way, along with a replica of the Cerritos bar logo and a pin highlighting the California-class USS Cerritos itself are in development as well.

If you’re interested in the Lower Decks character pins, you can get them now over at the FanSets web shop.

In other FanSets pin news, they’ll also be rolling out their Star Trek: The Next Generation “All Good Things” badge later in mid-September, as well as their Trek: Discovery Section 31 badge in October — both of which we exclusively announced back in July.

The company has also announced that their line of Starfleet delta badges are going to be reissued this fall in magnet-backed form, with their previously-released Star Trek: Picard delta coming in the new backing towards the end of 2020.

In addition, they revealed today that their version of the USS Enterprise delta, worn by Captain Pike, Number One, and crew in Star Trek: Discovery is in development for artwork approval — and we know some of you have been waiting for those badges since QMx went radio silent on their line of Trek products.

On top of that, FanSets will be polling fans to let you guide their next wave of Star Trek command badges after the first of the year, so watch for your chance to give feedback into their upcoming products!
