We’re a week away from next Thursday’s Star Trek Universe panel, where showrunner Mike McMahan and cast will bring us our first long-form look at Star Trek: Lower Decks — but today we’ve got three more images from the upcoming show to meet with your inspection!
Released this afternoon, the first image shows the Lower Decks crew — Ensigns Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), Tendi (Noel Wells), Mariner (Tawny Newsome), and Boimler (Jack Quaid) — sharing a moment at what looks to be the USS Cerritos’ equivalent of Ten Forward… though perhaps not a moment Boimler is enjoying!
Next up is a solo shot of a sheepish-looking Ensign Rutherford, giving us a good look at the digital eyepiece that’s replaced his left eye, as well as the details in his hair and eyebrow design.
Finally, we see this interesting shot of Ensigns Boimler, Mariner, and Tendi in what looks to be one of the Cerritos’ lower-decks facilities, a cargo storage and repair bay that includes a broken down shuttle… and a few spare warp nacelles lying around as well.
We’re sure to see even more from Lower Decks between now and San Diego Comic Con’s online events next week — and then during the big final push leading up to the show’s debut on August 6.
