The new line of STAR TREK BEYOND Funko POP! vinyl figures are arriving to fans (and available in stores) now, and photos have surfaced of the FYE-exclusive Captain Kirk variant, wearing his blue “survival suit” from the film.

Curiously, though, the new line of BEYOND dolls reveal a so-far-unseen Chekov “survival suit” design as well, not yet released to stores – and as of yet, has no information about the variant online.

We suspect that this Chekov POP! was designed to be a retailer (or San Diego Comic Con) exclusive variant, but the model may have been delayed – or possibly cancelled – due to actor Anton Yelchin’s unfortunate passing last month.

We’ve reached out to Funko for comment on the Chekov release, but have not yet as of this writing received a reply.
